Armageddon Days is a top down shooter where you control the earth destroying asteroid’s and planets. Your in control of the earths giant laser canon as it you spin it round shooting bullets or if you hold down the fire button, you can unleash the deadly Nexus fire. Sometimes planets appear and although they look slow, they’re tough and will surely bring Armageddon on impact. Luckily you have a secondary defence system that fires rockets and bombs to help you dispatch of them. Along the way you earn money by destroying asteroids and planets, with this you can purchase upgrades that will really help you. These range from more bullets to powering up rockets. You have 3 “hits to Armageddon” until you lose (Unless a planet hits you) till you die and although it’s easy at first, it gradually gets harder. The longer you survive the more people you save and the more points you get.

That’s basically it but this is a very addictive and you will find yourself playing it over and over to beat your highscore and then what? You’ll go back again to beat your highscore. The graphics are pretty nice, the music is pretty atmospheric, the controls are pretty good and the game is pretty damn addictive. If you haven’t already played his awesome shooter, play it now.

Overall Score: 4.9/6.0

Animal Crossing DS Review

Animal Crossing is a Game with a lot of playability, options and customisation.
I would reccomend the Wii version if you have the money and if you want a better online and offline experience which comes out December 5th 2008.

Advance Wars: Dark Conflict

A fantastic turn-based strategy that hasn’t changed much has made things a lot more balanced, has cool new features and not forgetting the online multiplayer.

Links Crossbow Training

A fun yet short-lived shooter. It doesn’t quite live up to price and the graphics were taken straight from Twilight princess, lazy.

42 All Time Classics

A good selection of games in a bargain package, but more appealing to elderly audience and the online multiplayer isn’t very well organized.

Not just the best game on the Wii but the best Zelda game on any console hands down.
