Pros and cons
+ Amazing graphics and music
+ Great presentation and features
+ Awesome level editor
- Single player is a bit tedious
At last Zomgman Battle Arena. I remember waiting for this game for ages. Ok, so I just reviewed Zomgman Battle Arena a few minutes ago but it has taken a while for Meteor games to release this. But now I know why.
There are huge differences in presentation from the two games. Once you open up the game (takes a while to load, I know...) you see a very stylish title screen with title and all. The music sounds alot better aswell. Every button, every pixel, has been polished. The game looks very proffesional, Gameboy Advance standard even.
Like in the coming soon section on Zomgman 1 theres a new singleplayer complete with a co-op option and a weapons store. You may be a little disappointed though. It's a bit tedious. Basically you go through levels fighting through swarms of enemies with a variety of weapons. But the fighting gets repetitive and on some levels the backgrounds are continually used. But there are some very nice features though, like the boss battles, the random ship fight in the middle and that bit where you escape hell. It will all make sense when you play the game.
The mutiplayer is still here and it's better than ever. Well it's basically the same in essence, but there's a few new items and graphics for the graphics. New levels and its all topped off with improved graphic's and effects. Not forgetting the new level editor which gives you the potential to build levels to the standard to the level's already there (take note Nintendo; Super Smash Bros. Brawl).
So there you go, Zomgman 2 is better than Zomgman 1, just like Toy Story 2 is better than Toy Story 1. So the single player is a bit tedious and that stereo that changes the music in the multiplayer is still called a "boom box" but it's still pretty good. The presentation is better than game I've played that was made with game maker and the multiplayer is bigger and better. What more do want?
