Skate

Good game, endless enjoyment.
Pros:
Great graphics,
new original way to do tricks,
perfect gameplay length,
great price.
Cons:
sometimes tricks are hard to do perfectly every time,
bit repetitive,
bad camera angles
Firstly the graphics of skate are amazing as it uses all of the features of the next gen systems, then when you actually play the career mode it starts with a really good intro, probably the best intro to a skateboarding game ever. Next you do the tutorial which is really good for helping you get the feel of the "flikit" system, then when you start the actual game you start off having to perform tricks for photo shoots for mags and do video challenges these are fun... for a while but sometimes i feel that the video challenges are a bit too hard for the 30 second time limit then you can start doing pro challenges which entail doing certain tricks on a certain place. There is also own the spot in which you have to get a set score on a certain place. Although most of the game is just skating around doing your own thing it really is fun for those who like skateboarding however if you dont like the actual sport and you only play games like the Tony Hawk franchise because of the extravagant story and tasks then this game is definitely not for you. Another bad point of the game is the camera angles which are actually good for what they are supposed to be (a guy following you around with a camera) sometimes it is a bit annoying e.g. when you are doing death races or follow me tasks as this angle can often obstruct your view. In conclusion this game is an overall good game but as i said before if you arent into the sport it is probably just worth renting before buying, my overall score for skate is 9.5 out of 10 as it is a great game but still has a few bugs to be worked out.
